63,000 people at the Festival Peninsula of Targu Mures

Approximately 63,000 people attended the "Peninsula" Festival this year which was held from Thursday to Sunday in Targu Mures, the last day - when they played Korn, Above and Beyond, Zdob Zdub NOHA, Dub FX - being registered almost 20,000 spectators.
Participation in the "Peninsula" Festival this year exceeds the previous years except the 2007 edition, when they were between 85,000 and 90,000 people, but then the festival had five days.
The Director of the "Peninsula" Festival, Bodor László said Sunday that the festival has steadily increased the number of visitors each day. Thus, the first day, Thursday, were 11,000 visitors, 15,000 were Friday, Saturday - about 17,500 participants and Sunday - about 20,000.
This year's festival budget was comparable to last year, ie around 1.2 million euros.
The "Peninsula" Festival held between 26 and 29 August, in Targu Mures, brought together over 70 artists, among them are Korn, Tricky, Europe, Gorillaz Sound System, The Rasmus, Above & Beyond or Fedde Le Grand, and a lot more.
